traditional hobble with the nylon strap (which binds), alligator clip
(which easily broke) and key hook
(which is small and limited in it's
application). The nylon is not designed
to hobble the combative subject
(ankles to cuffs at a 90 degrees or Maximum Restraint). The
PoliceHobble is the only hobble designed to
hobble in the Maximum
Restraint position.
The PoliceHobble uses 11mm static rope, a
locking 27 kN rated
carabiner and a 1 inch steel ring. The design makes the use of the
